Firelight believes in transparency. So we’ll be totally clear with you:

And we are asking for your support this year. We’re reaching out to new and longtime firelight friends with this question: will you help sustain firelight?

We love what we do.

Since its inception in 2017, Firelight has worked full-time, year-round to create new + innovative theatre experiences, offer robust + meaningful classes, develop community partnerships + events, and build infrastructure for a lasting arts + community organization.

We want to keep doing it.

Since becoming a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 2023, the Firelight Board of Directors and Creative Team have made a commitment: To move toward a living wage for the Artistic and Executive Directors, the artistic + operational staff, and project collaborators.

We believe that sustaining Firelight means sustaining the people who create + produce the projects and who operate the organization. This annual appeal is about the people.

We do it together.

Firelight’s annual appeal is our largest + most essential fundraiser of the year. Thanks to you, we raised $33k last year. Now, our goal is to raise $45k, which will directly sustain and support the people + programming at Firelight.

To be totally clear, we need you.

Your support will strengthen our roots so that we can stretch to new artistic places and share meaningful, communal experiences together. Thank you, friends.

Firelight friends! We are so proud + excited to be concluding our seventh season. Since 2018, we’ve been creating innovative and immersive theatre experiences, and we’ve committed to sharing projects, process, and artistic secrets with you.

We thank you for your support of Firelight. We do what we do because of your support, presence, curiosity, and enthusiasm. Your support positions us to improve our production values (we need sound + lighting equipment!), increase access for students and audience (affordable tickets and classes are important to us!), develop a sustainable infrastructure (we have growing operating expenses!), and -- most importantly -- compensate the artists + collaborators who create the work that brings you to the studio.
