Welcome to Dinner Time. Let’s eat.

It’s Season 6. And it’s Firelight film #2.

We continued exploring this year’s theme of Reunion in our original film, Dinner Time. Firelight loves the art of collaboration. Under the guidance of director Laura Carden, the actors improvised and helped to devise the film’s script. What emerged was a sensorial + intimate experience. We’re so glad you’re here.

And since you’re here, it’s important to us to know that! Will you please take a moment and join our mailing list so we can keep in touch with you about Firelight? Our newsletters are juicy, and of course, we want to be able to let you know about future projects.

The Dinner Time Packet

Before we dig into the film, let’s talk about dinner parties. We believe the best pairing for this film is, in fact, a dinner party. Or at least some good company and good noshes. Below, we offer you a delicious DINNER TIME PACKET to help you host your own dinner party — or at least be a great guest. It’s yummy. Click on the image to view our companion packet to the film. And while you’re at it, listen to these tunes with us as you cook, sip, read, or host.

But there were always, also, a couple of guests who knew exactly what to do. Who never arrived too early but allowed you a 10-minute breather just past the hour they were expected.

And now, for the feature presentation.

We encourage you to enjoy the show as if you were at theatre — settle into your seat, dim the lights, silence your cell phone, invite other theatregoers to join you, or imagine them beside you. And hey, why not watch in fullscreen, or even cast this video to the biggest screen you got?

While tickets are no longer officially on-sale for the Dinner Time at-home-stream, we are delighted to continue to share the film with you for a limited time. If you’re moved to do so, we hope you’ll consider making a small donation to Firelight after you watch the film.

Alright, at-home streamers. Grab your prosecco or your sparkling water. Gather your friends. It’s time to watch Dinner Time.
